The steam ducts are part of the boiler assembly for the new 660 ΜW Ptolemais unit 5 Powerplant. The ductus are about 120m long and have a cross section of about 12x12m. RCDC was commissioned to detail the transportation and erection sequence between the fabrication plant and their final position. Parts of the design included the stress checks in all connections and production of fabrication drawings.
